The first batch of 77 postgraduates from Shanti Business School (SBS), Shela are all set to enter the corporate world after receiving lucrative offers from the industry. Companies with diverse profiles — from pharma, IT, banking, infrastructure, automobile, healthcare to business analysis, consulting and even advertising —carried out a head-hunting exercise for the 2010-12 batch at SBS.
C A L Caterpillar Inc, a heavy-machines manufacturing company offered the highest salary of Rs 7.4 lakh to Anurag Srivastava, a PGDM passout. “I have been hired as advance analyst and I am very happy to bag this opportunity. The course curriculum helped me create a niche for myself and get the highest salary. Also the mentoring sessions prepare us for the corporate sector.” “The course at SBS is tailormade for the students and e n c o u r a g e s them to explore their interests from new perspectives. Our students get to select from more than 150 electives,” said Jay Sanghani, Head of Shanti E d u c a t i o n Initiatives.
Other companies that hired students included GVK EMRI 108, TCS, Elitecore Technologies, Snap Deal and Development Credit Bank.
